Who We Are
Matt and Taunee were born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. They met in high school and have been together ever since. After high school the two attended New Mexico State University, Matt graduated as a civil engineer and Taunee a nurse. Together they bounced around the country for many years. Living in El Paso, Chicago, Dallas, and Denver. The big city life was never really appealing so the pair decided to move out to the country after starting a family. The farming bug bit them both, Taunee began a vegetable garden, and Matt sewed his first hemp field the next year. Peyton Family Farms was born.
All About Peyton Family Farms
Peyton Family Farms is a very small family operation in rural Nebraska. The farm is 100% percent organic and absolutely no pesticides or herbicides are used on the property. The farm historically was part of a large livestock feed operation up to the late 1990’s and for the past few decades the property was used as a horse pasture. The owners, Matt and Taunee purchased the property in 2020 and Peyton Family Farms was born. We are active at the local farmers market selling organic vegetables, CBD products, and homemade baked goods. In the future we hope to add honey, lavender oil, and New Mexico Green Chiles to our products. Our goal is to provide organic and sustainable products to our customers that are 100% grown on our property, every product from the bee hives for honey to the organic wheat field for flour will be processed and handled by the owners with love and care.
